  • Hamilton Field History Museum

    The Hamilton Field History Museum is located at the former Hamilton Army Airfield in Novato. The museum provides an intriguing glimpse into the history of this former airfield from its opening in 1935 until its closure in 1975.

    Inside are hundreds of artifacts from the base's heyday, including photos, uniforms, pins, medals, and a cockpit simulator. There is also a library and research center full of books, videos, and posters.

    Created in the historic Hamilton Field Firehouse by enthusiastic vollunteres and the City of Novato, the museum shows a unique part of Novato's history
