Novato is almost completely surrounded by nature and a scenic landscape, that is governed by the Marin County Parks system. Questions surrounding the Chamber and open space arise often. For instance, one may ask, 'why does a chamber of commerce care about the open districts?" Simply put, our open space helps drive our economy. In addition, tourism and eco-adventure industries have always thrived. Activities such as mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking and more are all strong in Novato due to our proximity to its scenic nature and open space. In regards to City maintained properties, the City of Novato maintains 40+ parks, courts, facilities, and playgrounds. Likewise, each neighborhood throughout Novato has several parks and ways to stay active in the community.  Some of Novato's More noteworthy parks include Miwok Park, Scottsdale Pond, Stafford Lake, and Pioneer Park that is to name a few. The Chamber here cares deeply about these resources because they directly impact the business community. For this reason, equipment, maintenance supplies, and other businesses are influenced by through our parks.

Board of Directors

Board members serve a term of 3 years and may serve two consecutive terms. Following a year off-duty, they may resume their service. The Board sets policy, general goals, vision and helps forge the path of the organization under the leadership of the Board President.
