The Novato Chamber partners with local transit agencies and shop owners to bring you a strong Festival. When it comes to parking at the Festival, real-estate always seems to be at a premium. We suggest that, as much as possible, please try to utilize public transit (SMART, Marin Transit, Golden Gate Transit), bike, walk, or carpool to Downtown Novato. There is no designated lot for parking.
NOTE that the Festival closes access to several streets beginning Friday evening (around 9PM) through Sunday). We appreciate all cooperation with local business owners and residents and invite you to claim your parking passes at the offices of the Novato Chamber. Despite the road closures, if you decide to drive, the side streets offer the best chance for your party to find parking. Be careful when parking in public lots, as they may be reserved for businesses (especially on Saturday during normal business hours).

Walking
The Festival of Art, Wine & Music spans the heart of Novato's Downtown District and is within walking distance to many local neighborhoods.

Marin Transit
Take Marin Transit directly to the Festival The Gran and Redwood Terminal sits directly behind the Redwood Stage on the Festival's western extent. We highly encourage people to take transit and enjoy themselves at the event.

SMART
Soon there will be a Downtown SMART Platform that will make transit easy. Until then users from Sonoma or Marin counties can utilize SMART's San Marin-Atherton Platform (about 1 mile/25 minute walk north of the Festival)

Bike Vallet
Avoid the hassle of parking and take your bike. Complimentary Bike Valley parking courtesy of the Novato Chamber and the Novato Theater.

Parking at the Festival & Getting to Novato
Parking

The Novato Chamber has no official designated parking zones or areas. Parking is limited. Note of caution: the length of Festival on Grant Avenue as well as several of the side streets adjacent to the Downtown are closed to traffic and parking. We suggest taking advantage of public parking lots like the Zenk lot and others as well as utilize public transit, biking, and walking.
Parking Suggestions
The Novato Chamber is proud to offer attendees to the Festival of Art, Wine, and Music a wonderful experience. Despite all of our partnering organizations parking seems to always be at a premium. With that in mind, the Festival would like to make a few suggestions that will help everyone enjoy the weekend a little more.
Be Courteous
If you park in adjacent residential neighborhoods, please be courteous of their homes & landscaping. Please do NOT block their driveways.
Be Safe and Stow
Please do NOT leave any valuables in your vehicle. Novato is a very safe town, but it never hurts to exercise caution.
Look for the signs
Parts of Novato have parking restrictions. Be cognizant of using private lots owned by businesses or apartment communities as they may have restrictions. NEVER use private driveways.
