Leadership Novato Wins Golden Bell!

Leadership Novato was awarded the 2024 Golden Bell from the Marin Office of Education and Novato Unified School District for being an Outstanding Community Partner!
What is Leadership Novato?
Since 1990, the Novato Chamber of Commerce has developed community leaders through its Leadership Novato program. We partner with the City of Novato, the Novato Unified School District, the Novato Sanitary District, the North Marin Water District, and the Novato Fire Protection District to offer this premier program.
Leadership Novato prepares our students to lead in the community, at their organizations, and focuses on making a difference in Novato. As a Leadership Novato student, you’ll learn how decisions are made, get an up-close look at the organizations serving our city, hear about key initiatives and plans for development, and opportunities for getting involved.
Along with knowledge, students develop valuable leadership skills. Through a ‘strengths-based’ approach and participating in a collaborative group service project, students develop critical leadership and interpersonal skills. Leadership Novato students get hands-on, experiential learning with team dynamics, delegation, communication, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
